These terms of sale and delivery apply to the purchase of goods on backinmay.com for delivery in Denmark and the rest of the world.
§1 Ordering and payment
Backinmay.com is open 24 hours a day and you can therefore almost always shop. However, it may happen that we close the website due to maintenance. You can only make purchases when the store is open and available.
You select the items you want to buy and put them in the "shopping cart." You can correct the contents of the shopping cart right up to the time of order, and you can check the contents and the price of the items on an ongoing basis. All prices on Back in May are including Danish VAT, and delivery within The European Union.
When you are ready to order, click "Basket", where you enter your name, address, e-mail, tlf.nr., form of payment and choose the mode of delivery.
You can change content in your shopping cart right up until you confirm your purchase by pressing the "Go to Payment" button. Your order will then proceed to Backinmay.com.
The amount of the items will not be charged to your account until the items are shipped. For partial delivery, only the amount corresponding to the actual delivery is deducted. We make reservations for price and printing errors on the website and reserve the right to cancel the order in the event of a material and/or obvious error.
We accept payment with Anyday.
The amount will only be deducted from your card when the item is shipped.
When you choose to pay with Anyday, the first payment is deducted when the item is shipped. Then you will pay your monthly installments on the last weekday for three months onwards, beginning from next month.
No fees and interest will be charged for your purchase if you pay on time. If you return your purchase, the agreement with Anyday will terminate automatically.
§2 Receipt for receipt of order and order confirmation
Once you have ordered an item from Back in May, you will receive a receipt for our receipt of your order. However, a binding purchase agreement has only been entered into once you have received an order confirmation from us.
§3 14 days right of withdrawal
When you shop at Backinmay.com you have a 14-day right of withdrawal where you can inform us that you wish to regret the purchase and then return the item(s) to us.
The right of withdrawal runs from the day you receive the item. If the period expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, the period shall be extended to the following working day.
After receipt, you must handle the goods alone in such a way that you can determine the nature, characteristics and manner in which they work.
In order to assert the right of withdrawal, you must notify us by an unambiguous declaration within 14 days of receipt of the goods. This declaration shall be made in writing on contact@backinmay.com or by telephone on +45 26 74 50 45.
§4 Return
If you regret the purchase, the goods must be returned to:
Back in May ApS
Christiansminde 4
DK-8541 Skødstrup
Denmark
Upon return, make sure that the goods are securely wrapped. You are responsible for the package(s) until we receive it. Therefore, save the postal receipt and any track and trace number that you can send upon request.
You must pay the cost of returning the item when you regret your purchase. Please note that on exchanges we offer free shipping for Danish orders.
IMPORTANT: We expect you to ship the goods as soon as possible after you have notified you of your withdrawal, and you must return them within 7 days of your undone.
Note! We do not receive packages sent per demand or packages without delivery.
Refund
When we receive the item, we check it and you will be refunded the amount you have paid to us at the time of purchase.
The amount will always be transferred to the same means of payment with which you paid the purchase. For example, if you have paid by card, the purchase amount will be returned to the payment card you used at the time of purchase.
NOTE:
You may lose your purchase amount, in whole or in part. This occurs if the value of the item is impaired because
- you have actually put the goods into use,
- it has been damaged while you were in charge of it,
- you have handled the goods in any way other than was necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods;
- you have not followed the restrictions on the right of withdrawal resulting from sealing, item type etc.
§5 Complaint - If there is something wrong with the item
Your purchase on Backinmay.com is covered by the Code of Purchases, including the deficiency rules. This means that you can either have a defective item repaired, exchanged, refunded or discounted in price, depending on the specific situation.
It is, of course, a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of improper use of the product or other harmful behavior. Please note that the plating on a gold or rhodium-plated piece of jewelry is not covered by this warranty, as this will wear off due to general use.
Gold and rhodium-plated jewelry has been given a plating that can wear off over time. The wear and tear will depend, among other things, on the frequency of use, acid in your skin, exposure of chemicals such as perfumes and creams, storage and other conditions. Likewise, an oxidized piece of jewelry will not be covered by a right of complaint or a guarantee, as this chemical process (oxidation) is unavoidable when the silver jewelry comes into contact with oxygen. An oxidized piece of jewelry can be remedied either by the use of silver cleaner or a damp cloth with the dishwasher. You can read our jewelry care to extend the durability of your jewelry.
A necklace with a broken lock is not considered a complaint if it is broken by overload. This can happen in the event that the chain gets stuck in a piece of clothing or if it is being pulled. This is not related to the quality, age or other conditions of the chain.
You must contact us within "reasonable time".
You must advertise within "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect in the item. We recommend that you advertise as soon as possible, and within 14 days after the error was discovered.
You can advertise by contacting us by mail to contact@backinmay.com or by telephone at +45 26 74 50 45.
Depending on the specific situation, you will receive the further instructions.
The item must be sent to:
Back in May ApS
Christiansminde 4
DK-8541 Skødstrup
Denmark
At the same time, when you return the item, please state in as much detail as possible what the problem is. Please do this either by written request or by telephone.
Upon a legitimate complaint, we will refund reasonable shipping costs.
If the complaint is justified, we will of course refund your reasonable shipping costs to return the goods to us. Otherwise, you will have to bear all transport costs, including our shipping costs for the return of the item after examination.
Remember that the item must always be shipped in proper packaging and receive a receipt for shipment. You are responsible for the package(s) until our receipt. Therefore, save postal receipts, including information about freight items and, if applicable, shipping. track and trace number.
Note! We do not receive packages sent per demand or similar.
