Back in May accepts the following payment methods: Visa/Dankort, Mastercard, MobilePay and PayPal. The amount will be deducted from your account when the purchased item(s) leaves our stock. All prices include Danish VAT. The prices on our site can be shown in DKK, EUR and USD.

When we receive your order, you will shortly after receive an e-mail notification summarizing your order information. We reserve the right not to deliver in case our stock was incorrect at the time you placed your order. If we are unable to deliver your order, we will notify you by e-mail order phone and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. 

Back in May use a safe server for payments which encrypts all information with SSL protocol, which means your data is safe and can't be seen or accessed by strangers. The site of Back in May Jewelry uses encryption with SSL protocol as well. 


If you wish to exchange a product into another style, please contact us so we can reserve the item for you. You must within 14 days of receipt of your order notify us if you with to cancel your purchase. Notification shall be given by e-mail to contact@backinmay.com. In your message, please make it clear that you want to tap your right.

If you wish to exchange a product into another style, we will cover the shipping costs if it is within the European Union. In this case you need to contact us and we will arrange the shipping for you.

If you regret your purchase, you must within 14 days make sure to send the goods back to us. We will create a shipping label and sent it to you. Once we have received the item(s), we will subtract the shipping cost and refund the remaining amount to your bank account.

All original packaging, jewelry box etc. must be returned with the product without having been tampered with. Please note that you are responsible for the product until we receive it. Also, please enclose your receipt and a short explanation as to why you wish to return the package. NB: In case of returns of goods the shipping costs are held by the customer. 

Returned items must be in good and undamaged condition. If returned goods show signs of damage or use beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and the way it works, you are liable for the deterioration of product value. We estimate a possible value based on a specific assessment of the returned item based on the following guidelines for impairment:

  • No signs of use and the product is in original packaging: -0%
  • Clear use of signs: -90%
  • Damaged: -100%
Returns will not be accepted if they are send with cash on delivery.

If you should have any complaints regarding wrong, damaged or missing items, please contact us ASAP. 

When shopping at our website, you have the 24-month warranty. Remember to save your receipt. This means that you either get the item you bought repaired, replaced, refunded or a reduction in the price depending on the specific situation.

The full warranty assumes that the damage/defects of goods are not due to misuse of the product or other injurious behaviour that has led to the damage/defect. Take a look at our care instructions to see how to keep your jewelry beautiful and repair many superficial damages. 

We reserve the right to remedy a defect/damage with an undamaged item instead of repaying the purchase price. Please note that a reasoned complaint will be settled by either repairing your product or replacement with a new one of the same type. 

The complaint/appeal must be given within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect in the product. If a complaint is given to us within one months after the defects is discovered, the complaint will always be timely. We will refund reasonable freight costs that you may have in relation with returning the product when the claim is justified, if you can present your freight receipt. When you return the product, please describe the problem in depth.


We do not pass on your personal information to any 3rd parties. They are only registered in our customer files. You are always allowed to get this information erased. 

To make a purchase at Back in May IVS, we need to collect the following information:

  • Phone Number
  • E-mail  
We only need this information for the purpose of delivering the item that you've purchased. 
Your personal information is registered at Back in May IVS an kept for up to five years, before they are erased. 
When we gather your personal information on our website, we always make sure that we have your definite consent so that you are informed about exactly which information we are gathering and why. 
The CEO and employees of Back in May IVS have access to the information which is registered about you. 
We do not store or transmit your customer information encrypted. 
As a registered at Back in May IVS you always have the right to object against the registration. You also have the right to know which information is registered about you. These rights is a part of the Danish Data Protection Act and in such cases you can contact: contact@backinmay.com.

Back in May has the right to assert the force majeure if the case of war, warlike event, civil war, revolution, government sanction, strike, lockout, blockade, natural disaster or the like. This means that the agreement will not need to be fulfilled in part or in full. Should this, contrary to expectation occur, we would attempt to notify you.
