Back in may accepts the following online payment methods:
Visa/dankort, Visa, MasterCard & MobilePay.
The amount will be deducted from your account, when the purchased item(s) leaves our stock. All prices on this site includes Danish VAT.
The prices can be showed in the following currency: Euro (EUR) or kroner (DKK)
When we have received your order, you will shortly after receive an e-mail confirmation about your order. We reserve the right not to deliver in case our stock level was incorrect at the time we received your order.
If we are unable to deliver your order, we will contact you by e-mail or phone, and give you the opportunity to cancel the order.
Back in May uses a safe server for payments which encrypts all information with SSL protocol which means your data is safe and cannot be seen by strangers.
Back in May’s own website uses encryption with SSL protocol as well.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We offer free shipping on all orders within the EU.
All orders in Denmark are shipped with DAO and are fully insured. Delivery time in Denmark is usually 1-4 days.
EU and other countries
All orders in countries both inside and outside of EU are fully insured. After the package leaves the Danish border, it is shipped with the national shippingservice.
Delivery to EU countries usually takes 1-5 business days. This depends on the distributor you choose in the checkout. If your package is shipped outside of EU, the delivery time may vary. Please contact us for an estimate about when you can expect your order to arrive or try go through the checkout to see if there’s already an estimate showing.
When your order leaves our warehouse you will receive a tracking number via e-mail which can be used to track your order.
Shipping Outside the EU
The price for shipping to your specific country outside of the EU can be found at the checkout after entering your country.
Please note that for orders outside of the EU, you will be liable to pay the country’s VAT as well as any relevant import duties. Back in May assumes no responsibility in those packages held in customs if those charges are not settled by the customer.
Please note that all offers or vouchers does not apply to already discounted items.
If you wish to exchange a product into another style, please contact us so that we can reserve the item for you if in stock. You must within 14 days of receipt of your order notify us that you wish to cancel your purchase. Notification shall be given by email to email@example.com. In your message, make us clearly aware that you want to tap your right. If you wish to exchange a product into another style we will cover the shipping costs if it’s within EU. In this case you need to contact us and we will arrange the shipping for you.
If you regret your purchase, you must within 14 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your purchase send the goods back to us. We will then create a shipping label and send it to you. Once we have received the item(s) we will subtract the shipping cost and refund the remaining amount to your bank account.
All original packaging, jewel box etc. shall be returned with the product without having been tampered with.
Please note that you are responsible for the product until it reaches us. Send the package with the dispatch number so that it can be traced. Also, please enclose your receipt and a short explanation as to why you wish to return the package. NB. In case of returns of goods the shipping cost are held by the customer.
Returned items should be in good and undamaged condition. If returned goods show signs of damage or use beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and the way it works, you are liable for deterioration of product value. We estimate a possible value based on a specific assessment of the returned item based on the following guidelines for impairment:
- No signs of use and the product is in original packaging: -0%
- Clear use signs: -90%
- Damaged: -100%
Returns will not be accepted if they are send with cash on delivery.
Return of Christmas gifts
Are you buying our jewelry as a Christmas present? No worries! You can return your jewelry until January 13 as long as the jewelry has not been worn.

If you should have any complaints regarding wrong, damaged or missing items, please contact us asap:
When shopping at our webshop, you have the 24-month warranty. Remember to save your receipt. This means that you either get the item you bought repaired or replaced, refunded or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.
The full warranty assumes that the damage/defects of the goods are not due to misuse of the product or other injurious behavior that has led to the damage/defect. Take a look at our care instructions to see how to keep your jewelry beautiful and repair many superficial damages.
We reserve the right to remedy a defect / damage with an undamaged item instead of repaying the purchase price. Please note that a reasoned complaint will be settled by either repairing your product or replacement with a new one of the same type.
The complain/appeal must be given within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect in the product. If a complaint is given to us within two months after the defect is discovered, the complaint will always be timely. We will refund reasonable freight costs that you may have in connection with returning the product when the claim is justified if you can present your freight receipt.
When you return the product, please describe the problem as fully as you can.
We do not pass on your personal information to others. They are only registered in our customer files. You are always allowed to get these information erased.

We only need this for the purpose of delivering the item you’ve purchased.
Your personal information is registered at Back in May IVS and kept for up to five years, before they are erased.
When we gather your personal information on our website we always make sure that we have your definite consent so that you are informed about exactly which information we are gathering and why.
The CEO and the employees of Back in May IVS have access to the information which is registered about you.
We do not store or transmit your customer information encrypted.
As a registered at Back in May IVS you have always the right to object agains the registration. You also have the right to know which information is registered about you. These right is a part of the Danish Data Protection Act and in such cases your can contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can always delete cookies from your computer.
We are using a log-statistic at https://backinmay.com, which means that a statistic-system collects information which can help us draw a picture of how many visitors we have and where they are coming from. We only uses this information to optimize our website.

Back in May have the right to assert force majeure in the case of war, warlike event, civil war, revolution, government sanction, strike, lockout, blockade, natural disaster or the like. This means that the agreement will not need to be fulfilled in part or in full. Should this, contrary to expectation, occur, we would attempt to notify you.
